You’ll be the one, in the role of Marketing and Communications within Gaymers United, who makes sure that our community has a broad reach and visibility. Making sure possible members are drawn to our community, goals and activities by providing promotional materials and communications both digitally and on paper makes your heart beat faster.
Who we are
A role with Gaymers United, is a role with a mission. Our mission, on which you’ll contribute, is to unite gamers within the European and world wide LGBTIQ+ community by providing a warm, safe and open community within the LGBTIQ+ community in which our members have a feeling of safety, so they can happily join in and focus on games, gaming and other activities.
What to expect from this role?
You’ll fulfill a central role in boosting our communities fame and attracting new members to our community. All of this will be achieved through maintaining and developing our identity trough drafting and organizing promotional campagnes and strategies. Is photography or filming one of your interests? Are you the magician for whom tools like PhotoShop and InDesign holds no secrets? Than you’re perfect! A lot of our identity has been developed using these tools and of course recording our events photo and film are very welcome.
Besides your creative side, copywriting catchy texts are also among your toolbox and can be used to bring some much needed magic to our announcements and outing. You also enhance our outings by doing spell checks.
What to bring?
Most important to us is that what you do, you do it well, and wat you do well also does you well. The basis is enjoyment in your activities, we value this because we all do this on a voluntary basis.
We do appreciate if you’re a Gaymer and an active member within the LGBTIQ+ community or have a strong affinity for this community. We do value a fluent competence in English or any other language you master, both in speech as in writing.
